Tony was one of the kindest, strongest, generous, honorable and hardworking men you'd ever meet, knowing him was and honor! I don't only speak highly of him just because he's my Dad, he actually lived by truth, unconditional love and kindness which made him the BEST Dad and papa anyone could ask for.
Tony was a devoted father and a hardworking man, he worked hard his entire life up until he retired in 2017. Tony's father (Juan) passed away at a young age and from there he took on the responsibility of raising his 7 siblings, he has always and forever will be the head of the table!
Tony had overcome many obstacles during his time on this earth, just to name a couple, he was a cancer survivor and transplant recipient (12/21/2018). Tony was so loyal to his family and friends, he was a master at barbequing and fishing, but we mustn't forget how talented he was! He played the guitar and wrote and sang his own songs! Although, he loved those hobbies, (oh we can't forget the good ol cold beers he'd enjoy) there was nothing more he loved doing than spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Tony is loved by so many people, which speaks volumes on his character. Tony fought a tough battle (2.5 months) once he contracted COVID-19, he was in the ICU on a vent for over a month and in the hospital for over 2 months, his family stayed near to advocate for him and be his voice, we never gave up on him...... I say this with a heavy broken heart, Tony passed away on 3/8/2021 at the young age of 60, at the hospital and since then our world was shattered and our hearts torn to pieces, we are still mourning the loss of our grandmother (4/16/2020) it hasn't even been a year between the two deaths, such hard hits.
I prayed to GOD every second to keep dad here with us, we all need him so bad. I would never wish this pain or feeling on anyone. Please remember, if you are sick stay away from people (especially vulnerable immunocompromised individuals) until you are asymptomatic, wear your mask and wash your hands frequently! I did everything I could to protect him, but my father's kind, welcoming soul overpowered precautions. My dad would never deny anyone coming to visit him and that is how COVID-19 shook our world! Please keep our family in prayer.
WE LOVE YOU DADDY AND MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH.
